Welcome to the MijasH3 32th Anniversary event with “Positively Pink” and the “Positively Blue” charities.
This year to celebrate 32 years of continual hashing on the Mijas Costa we are organising a challenging walk – Run of 32Km or 15Km through the Mijas mountains, this will be a very exhilarating and demanding test of stamina pushing yourself to new limits, you should be in good health and have completed similar walks before.
Criteria for entering, Fit and healthy, good running or hiking boots, sun hat, personal water bottle, sun screen, mobile phone. Sorry no children. Entry is limited to 55 participants so book early!!!!
Plan for the day 32km
We will be meeting at the Venta “El Panel de la Reina” Google Map Location in Enterrios from 08.00 hrs for registration, the proprietors are opening up for us so breakfast, snacks and drinks will be available. We will be putting on a coach to take you to the start of the run-walk at La Mota, the coach will leave promptly at 9.30 hrs.
On registration you will be given a number to allow us to monitor who is on the event and your details will be taken to ensure we don’t lose anybody.
We have arranged two (2) drink stops on route where you can get water and electrolyte drinks and snacks. Marshals here will check you in, please pass on your registration number, your assistance is appreciated as we do not wish to leave anybody out on the trail. Please note there is very limited shade on the trail.
There will be also two (2) marshals on mountain bikes monitoring progress on the trail.
The cost to take part in this event is 15 euro, 10 euro per entry will go to the Charities, we would ask ALL participants to try and get sponsorship from friends and work colleges for your completion of the trail.
The trail will finish back at Venta “El Panel de la Reina” where there will food and drinks available.
Make sure you register completion of the trail at the marshal’s table at the end, and pass in your registration number.
Plan For The Day 15km
Short run- walk (15 Km), A less strenuous trail but still support this worthwhile cause. When you fill in the registration form in the drop down menu select 15km registration will start at 10.00hrs for this short trail
A mini bus will take you to just over half way along the trail to join the rest of the long group, you will then be with the other participants enjoy the Mijas mountains on picturesque route back to the venta “El Panel de la Reina”
The event will be fully compliant with Government guide lines for Covid 19 restrictions.
Local newspaper “Euro weekly” and “Costa Connection” magazine will be reporting on the event, look out for some memorable photographs.
