Another Hasher Passes On

Received some very sad news today, an old hasher and ex Mijas H3 GM passed away last week with Pancreas cancer; “Pitter Patter” He was laid to rest at Mijas crematorium yesterday (Thursday), due to the Corona virus there was a limitations of people allowed to join, otherwise I am sure a good few hashers would have attended.

“Pitter Patter” was a humorous character always with a smile on his face and up for a laugh and a song, He loved the hash and whenever meeting up with him he would mention a great hashing location he had seen during his travels around Andalucía, unfortunately he never came back to run with us, instead turned his hand to “Bowls” and was till recently (March) was enjoying the cruising lifestyle.

He will always be warmly remembered on the Mijas H3 and will make the photo collage on the yearly memorial run next January, of our dearly departed hashers not to be forgotten.

Our thoughts are with his loving wife “What’s a BJ” (Denise) and their family.

RIP “Pitter Patter” On up.
