Huge thanks to Chocolate Starfish and Buggered in the Woods for setting such a fun trail around Benalmadena, especially as they're only here for a long weekend. This time, one of our reigning hash shit hares actually made it to the beer stop! But what happened to the other one? And why were the pack left so thirsty back at the Circle? You'll have to read the Hash Scribe to find out (and it will be well worth a read!) After all the drama, the pack went on on for
a delicious Sunday lunch, where the hares generously bought the drinks. Thank you for an excellent time and buen viaje back to England! On on to next week, when Sandra Bollox and Blanka Wanka will be setting trail around Campo de Mijas. Bring your swimming cossies! Hares - Buggered In The Woods & Chocolate starfish.
Hashers. 15 including hares.
Virgin. Pol (911's friend).
Score 9.
Circle. Tivilo carpark Benalmadena. Pin pretty much in the right place despite STTI changing it to approx 100 yards from original and driving round the car park 3 times to be sure in the right place. Think brightly dressed hashers gave it away!!!

BEWARE, A LONG READ BUT I FELT I COULDNT MISS ANYTHING OUT.
Previous trail(s) set by these hares did not disappoint this time. In a word chaotic but in a good way.
Set around the back streets of Benalmadena with what can only be described as extremely sparse markings, reckon they used 2 bags of flour!!! Alot of tooing and froing at split trails and Big brother improvising with foliage to help hashers behind due to the fact the marking was placed on a chequered drain cover making it impossible to erase the wrong ways. Some markings were the size of a thimbleful and others were huge.
Bad Weasel reached Paloma park as the beer stop location had been given by Chocolate Starfish (albeit by accident) at the beginning. It should've been 4 to 5 km to the beer stop, however Bad weasel ended up doing nearly 10km as he couldn't find his way out and after going past the children's play area for a 5th time and getting extremely worried looks from the parents he decided to wait for the walkers so he wasn't labelled a Paedophile!!!!
We arrived at the beer stop where Buggered In The Woods was and STTI who had kindly offered to drive the beer wagon. Chocolate starfish had however gone AWOL and conveniently had no phone.
Cava, beer and crisps consumed we walked back to the circle where 2 things happened...
1. No beer wagon
2. Chocolate starfish turned up after doing his own pub crawl!!
Phone call came in..STTI says the battery flat on car and BITW is coming to the circle with Bad Weasel's car keys as she knew he had jump leads having helped him out 2 weeks ago.
BW , Rick o shea , Chocolate Starfish and 911 piled in the car incase muscle needed for pushing it.
On arrival and asking STTI what the problem was it transpired the car key was in her pocket and not the ignition!!! She started said car just as the men started pushing.
" Your bloody engine is running" says CS.
Everyone back at circle. Chocolate starfish got a slap around the face from BITW (deservedly so). Pol named his 3 hash names correctly. A lot of sitting on ice and Colonic floured for his recent birthday.
Aguasex reminded all of the Charity Ball on the 6th September. If you've not signed up you'll be missing a great night.
