Virgins: Jason and dog Butch from Australia.
Returners: Lots.
Number of runners: 32.

First off well-done “Froggy” and “Kinder” for stepping in at short notice as “Stiffanny” was down
with a bad dose of flu and unable to set the run, with unsettled weather and a miserable start to the
day it was not looking good, as it turned out quite a few hashers turned out thinking the Hares may
be the only ones there! I also had the same feeling, but NO! an impressive 32 Hashers gathered in
beautiful sunlight for the start of the run, well done everybody, it was great to see “Just In” and
“Lip service” back on the run, “Pearl necklace” and “Dog face” also keen to hit the campo,
“Mummies Boy” was out also out for a bit of fresh air, “Yogi bear” was keeping watch full eye on him
for any signs he may need some form of resuscitation!!!!
Stand in GM, “Kinder C” got the proceedings under way, with information on the trail markings and
with Hash photo out of the way, he then realized he had not introduced our Virgen Hashers to the
pack so another circle was called whereupon “Jason” was introduced to the Pack and the usual
remember 3 names was requested!
On On into the campo, and into the first mix up! The out trail was also the “On in” trail, once this
was this was explained by Hare, the pack then proceeded up a slight incline and along a slippery
gouged trail, not a lot a calling “On On” as there was very little shredded paper (used instead of flour
as the Hares thought it was going to be a wet run!!!), eventually calls could be heard and the pack
started to stretch out, it was a pleasurable run in an area well used by the Hash, but they did use
some different trails which had the small group of Harriet’s lost! Luckily “Dogs Bollox” on his electric
bike came to the rescue and steered the group in the right direction.
Beer stop was a welcome relief as most Hashers were expecting a wet run and we were baking in
glorious sunshine! I made a comment on the absence of mince pies to the Hares and was given a
stern look back!! Maybe I will donate a few of “Iceland’s” finest tarts for next weeks run.
On On called again, “JSW” was first off with “Rub her Turd” stumbling behind showing no signs of
slowing up even in his twilight years, a few different trails were taken down into the valley and along
the side of the hill into a bamboo covered area at a stream crossing, a great trail, but next was a
huge climb up and up!! I was taking a breather half way up when “Jerry Can” made it his way passed
me, mumbling something about Everton being out of the FA cup by early January, demented old
fool. At the top of this challenging hill climb the Hares had made a “Cava stop” again void of any
mince pies, I proceeded to munch my way through some healthy cheese and onion flavoured crisps
washed down with refreshing chilled Cava, it doesn’t get much better than this, during our
refreshments we were entertained by watching “Bloody Pinocchio” make his way from a distant hill
top to the Cava stop, he had gallantly gone back to find some missing hashers, unfortunately for him
they were with us sipping Cava and scoffing crisps!!
On in was a short run home, and my “Wikiloc” had the run down for 4.15Km, I did a bit of a short cut
and the Hares said it was 5.0Km! Hey Ho, it was a good run and a good trail.
Circle called, Jason our Virgen hashes nearly got 3 hashers names, unfortunately “Popeye” doesn’t
run with us! Hope you have a safe trip home to Australia mate, “From behind” stepped in for our
missing RA, cleansing the pack, this was followed by “Just in” who then took over the circle for
approximately 15 seconds retorting I don’t have anything! I stepped in recalling a humorous story
from the “Goa Inter Hash” from our very own “Chutney Ferret” whom made friends with a None
Hashers, by slapping him on his bald head and pulling his beard and saying “Bleep Bleep”.
On On On meal was at and Indian restaurant in Mijas pueblo, unfortunately I didn’t attend but I am
sure it was a great night.
Well done, Hares.
A score of 9.0 was awarded for an excellent run.
Your scribe.
Sir Flakey.
On On forever.
