Only the absolute best hashers turned up today for what they knew would be gruelling hill climbs under a baking hot sun, but they did it!
A third of the hashers got lost in the hills and arrived late. Suxit og Inside Her bestemte seg for å gå rett til on on i stedet. Sorry guys, no pain no gain! Inside Her, at the first beer stop, was heard to mutter that she wished she’d stayed at the on on venue. Jeg er sikker på at de andre etternølerne, French Erections, Buggered In The Woods og Sarah No Name, ønsket at de også hadde gått glipp av løpeturen.
Titanic og Terrorist ankom med tre av de hårete hundene sine, lovely Levi having recently departed to Doggy Heaven. Not wishing to lose another, they did about five minutes of the hill and turned back. It was a scorcher!
But what views! The beautiful blue sky blended almost seamlessly with the blue of the Mediterranean Sea around almost every corner. It was worth trotting up those hills! And we have a new front runner! Kaka Maps (or is it Kaka Bum) was leading the way, shouting on on and scrubbing out checks like a pro front running bastard.
Kaka Maps og Pister Bradwee så ut som brødre i deres matchende Mijas shorts og T-skjorter. Suxit og Blanka Wanka så ut som tvillinger i sine matchende gule Kuala Lumpur topper. It was a most beautiful sight!
After the most severe hill climbs of recent weeks, and there have been a few, the hashers finally reached the beer stop. The wonderful hares, STTI and Rick O’Shea probably thought the big hill would make the hashers suffer enough, so it was a short trot to the second beer stop, which also had cava and mimosas. Then an even shorter trot back to the car park, where Titanic and Terrorist were waiting.
From Behind kept the Circle short but sweet, as everyone wanted to get to the on on, where a pool and bbq awaited. STTI warned everyone that we would suffer the same trail again if nobody signed up for hareline. The hashers cowered in fear and gave a score of 9.2. Inkludert Sandra Bollocks og Jerry Can som ble kalt inn for å ha oppført seg for godt og måtte styrte øl.
Hasherne stresset deretter til STTI og ROS sitt hus for mat og drikke. It was a great on on, despite the bbq turning off and only one Scandi, one Frenchy and one Irish being brave enough to fully get into the cold pool. Godt gjort, From Behind, French Erections og Rick O'Shea! Dere er best! The Brits and Aussies are wimps. Thank you, hares!
