Run - 1871 - 13 August 2023 Colonic’s Birthday Run

Hoad Centre on Sunday August 13th. Number of

hounds 20 something Hares birthday boy, Cardinal

Colonic Irrigation and Five Knuckle Shuffle.

Hares and hounds gathered for a prompt 11.00 am start to the

run which was a nice gesture from the hares to avoid the

hottest part of the day. Following the usual group photo we

were sent on our way by our GM Sandra Bollox. The hares had

promised us a lot of shade but apart from a tunnel I can’t

recall another piece of shade on the entire trail. Fortunately

for us hounds there was a nice cool breeze blowing.

Up until the beer/cava stop the run was mainly on tarmac but

after that there was a final section up a rambler to the circle. I

don’t recall anyone getting lost or falling over so quite an

uneventful run. Oh remembering of course that Dogs Bollox

did it on his bike. He was going on a cruise in the Med the

following day so maybe he was saving his energy for better

things!!!!

Anyway back at the circle the Hares had kindly errected a tent

to keep us all cool. A number of hashers received down

downs off From Behind the stand in RI for the day. There were

a number of anniversarios with Mummy’s Boy being the most

impressive having reached 800 runs. Others of note were CCI

535 and Pause Button 80. There were two visitors/returners

from Germany namely Choir Boy and Slippery When Wet and

a young Venezuelan virgin from Sweden the girlfriend of Big

Brother and Big Mouths son. The latter was seen wafting her

private bits with a fan so Blanca Wanka though it would be a

great idea to name her Fan my Fanny which was met with

unanimous agreement from the circle so named she was,

But the highlight of the circle was watching birthday boy CCI

receiving his birthday dousing of eggs beans and all sorts of

shit. Happy 63rd mate.

Run was voted good run ( Only because CCI was subsidising

the ON on) 9.5 i do believe.

Following the run we all went off to the On On at the Palace Of

India for food, more beers and wine. In all a very enjoyable
