It was an inauspicious start to the day with heavy rain which began in the night and continued throughout the morning …a hare’s worst nightmare. It was doubly unfortunate for Queen of Trails because Nikki Bitch, having asked her for assistance, was never actually available for any reccying. First because she said it was too hot to take her dog out, then she went on a cruise and finally she caught covid. So there was Queenie suddenly all alone to hare a hash that she had not volunteered for.

On hearing this however Pearl Necklace volunteered to help. Well done her! So … to the run. It was on the scrub ground on the left of the route to Alhaurin El Grande going from Venta Los Marenos. It was difficult terrain with stones underfoot everywhere. There was a Wimps and Runners split.

The runners, as so often, formed a tight group and kept together. It was 6 Kilometres to the first beer stop. A clue to the quality of the trail laying was that both runners and walkers arrived at the first Beer Stop at the same time! Thence it was on to the Cava Stop, and finally back to the circle with again, a choice of routes.

The first down down in the circle was for the two harriets who had done the Macho route - Gang Bang and French Erection. Thereafter the virgins were brought into the circle for their name test and after that the hares were brought into receive, a close to a record breaking score, of 9.8!

The OnOn was at La Boma restaurant with 32 hashers attending … something of a record in itself!
