Hares – Queen of Trails and Golden Cascade
At - Near Kestrels restaurant off Camino de Coin
This was the second (of a three week stint) that Queen of Trails was putting in as a hare. On this occasion assisted by Golden cascade. The location was excellent. Close to the Camino de Coin, yet really remote at the same time. No less tha three virgins came along.
The run was over varied terrain with the usual ups and downs, though some of the ups were really quite severe. The ultimate distance was not great, but the level of difficuly was quite high. Just what we expect in fact from Queenie.
The beer stop was also a cava stop and included the fresh, off the tree, oranges that Queenie usually provides . This was a long beer stop because Pisses Bradwee was lost on trail and also because the Kestrels restaurant was very full and it was necessary for customers to leave before we could arrive.
The final circle was a long one and consisted largely of Colonic's naming of no les than five people. These were -
Pot My Brown Pipe, who was re-named Chocolate Starfish.
Julie (Anne) Frank became Schitz or Schvollows
Aaleya (Pisses Bradwee's daughter) became Achy Breaky Ass
Miroslav becam Forest Cunt
Zavier (Bradwee's son) becam Caca Pants
Anniversarios were – Frilly Knickes 15, Karma Chameleon 465, Chocalte Starfish 15
The run, over virgin territory, was widely praised and received a score of 9.1.
Thereafter it was a short drive up the hill to the Kestrel Rastaurant. This was/is in a glorious location at the top of a hill with spectacular views of the surrounding campo. To begin with it was lovely and warm, but when the sun went down a cold wind suddenly sprang up.However most of stayed till past 10.30 enjoying the choice of after dinner drinks choosing from Pasaran, lemon cello or vodka caramel. It was a bit of a race to get back before the 11.00 curfew. What a great day, and indeed night! Well done the hares!
