EL CHAPARRAL

Sunday 18th July 2021.

Temperature: OMG far too Hot!

Distance: 8.9km (oh how they lied!)

Hares: Speedbumps, Aquasex and Skittles! The “Viva España 3 Amigos” Run.

We were promised shade, I think they meant the parasols we passed enviously as we trudged along Wazza beach before disappearing into a sewer "to become ninja turtles" (thank you Pause Button, aged 5yrs)! We were a small pack of 16 hashers and we hiked together which was fun although we were all grateful to Tesla Tickle for being the front runner, lots of splits and check backs! . Many laughs, spiky bushes, bloody socks and legs. Delicious White sangría at the beer stop where the main subject was From Behind's immunity or lack of (feel better soon Stein!) Sandra Bollocks cracked the whip and gave out punishments and moustaches in the Circle and Aquasex was brought in for beer as punishment for bringing the smallest rucksack ever to set the trail which was not big enough for the flour plus no pen and paper for Hash Cash.

Personally very grateful to Cross Dresser for fighting off the hostile old women drivers who were intent on not reversing back to let us escape from our parking spot, clung to his bumper and kept eyes front. Absolutely fabulous On On On (with very well marked facilities ) wonderful hospitality from Aquasex, Hugh and their lovely dogs, a delicious feast including legendary paella from Speed Bumps and dreadful music curtesy of Where's the Off Switch and Pause Button. A great time was had by all, thank you so much to the hares!!
