Run - 1811 - 10th July 70's Staying Alive Party
Mijas Hash House Harriers Scribe report.
Date: 10ᵗʰ July 2022. Run number: 1811.
Hares: Blanka wanker, From Behind and chef Aqua sex Location: Frog Hall, Campo Mijas
Virgins: Melenie Visitors: Nil
Returners: JSW, Roger the Cabin boy, and Hot Chilly Number of runners: 31
Anniversaries: Pause Button 50, Brave fart 50 , both received Mijas H3 Hash mugs in solid silver.

Another blisteringly hot day on the Costa del Sol, but again a great turn out at Frog Hall, for
what was billed as a fairly short run, a beer stop plus a pool stop, followed by scopious home made
food, it was all looking good.
Stand in GM Kinder, called the circle and promptly brought in “Pearl necklace” for insanely turning
up in brand new training shoes, sportingly she removed one of her new shoe, she then removed the
price tag inside the shoe, and
proceeded with her down down! Next in was our new Virgen hasher Melanie, after a quick introduction
she revealed she was only 50, which has now greatly reduced the average age of the Mijas Hash to
about 80!! Next the stand in GM introduced Melanie to ALL the Mijas hashers and ask her to remember
3 names !!! ( More on this in the Circle).
The Hares did an amazing job explain the run markings and even why the had made a 3 way split
trail!! Hash flash from “Caca Maps” and we were of On On.
Even though this is a well hashed area, the hare laid an interesting loop to get us going, the
front runners, Queen of trails JSW and Salmonella Rushdie were well ahead, with most spits already
rub out it was an easy trail to follow, the pack were well stretched out, I was with “Stiffannys”
trusty little rat “Toni” running from the shade of one tree to another, this was until we came into
the campo and the blistering heat! “From behind” was Infront (That doesn’t sound right!” any way he
was resetting the trail, as goat’s mountain bikers had removed some of the flour, On up to a
distant hill top, were “Brave farts” drinks mobile was parked, BEER STOP! A lovely breeze but
bugger all shade, the remaining pack slowly drifted in.
From here was a bite of déjà vu ! we set off on an upward climb, to a tricky split which had “Deed
end” wandering around mystified, On up up young man, as last week I had been around the very same
area! On down into the back of Sierrezuela Urbanization, all very familiar, I was now with “Pepper
Grinder” and his new partner, as we walked on up the road a lovely story unfolded, as she informed
me she actual lived here when she “unfortunately” met “Pepper Grinder” at the Verona restaurant as
he was attending a Hash On On, after the meal phone numbers were exchanged, and as they say the
rest is history.
Next stop was at Stiffanny and Sir Flakeys residence for a dip in the pool and “Cava and Orange
juice” the hight of decadence, this turned into quite a long stop!!! On On up the road to the
finish line at casa “Toad hall”
The circle called, stand in GM was in for a short while followed by our very own RA “Cardinal
Colonic Irritation” who this week pulled out all the PC stops and came a “Jimmy Saville”, down
downs were flowing very generously for all sorts of misdemeanours, people were being locked in
various scissor positions on blocks of ice! Avery bizarre!
To close the circle, our Virgen “Melanie” was brought in to name 3 hashers, as their name was
called out the hasher entered the circle to join her for a drink, but to everyone’s surprise she
did not stop at 3 !!! she carried on till the whole hash were in the circle! Amazing memory, let’s
hope we have not frightened her off with all are “Now then now then” Jimmy S shouts.
Circle closed; We were all treated to an amazing food fest! Well done “Aqua sex” for a fantastic
spread the Coronation chicken, was so tasty.
Well done Hares and Chef, a great day, looking forward to next week, when the Hares “STTI” and
“Rick O”shea” do yet again, another pool run! perfect for this hot weather.
