Picture if you can, the hills of La Cala, with no shade at all. A mere two minutes into the run, the runners were dashing off in all directions, failing miserably to find the trail. Suddenly ‘on on’ was called and everyone was off. The running folk (mostly Bloody Pinocchio) did all the checks and checkbacks, which were very long, meaning all the tortoises at the back could keep catching them up.
Suddenly, From Behind, dripping with blood, dashed off into the bushes. Thinking he’d found the trail, he was pissued getting intimate with a tree. Wee wee time!
Finally, the elusive shade was discovered and everyone cheered in relief. A couple of minutes later, the beer stop was in sight, with all the usual short-cutting bastards already there, guzzling the precious cava. Mentioning no names, Cardinal Chronic Irritation and Sir Flakey, who’d hitch hiked there with his giant thumb.
Due to the extreme heat and because they are lazy bastards, the number of short-cutters grew, and they followed Chronic Irritation and Flakey the Thumb a few minutes down the road back to the circle.
However, many hashers battled on up more hill trails regardless of the searing heat, short-cutting where possible to escape the sun. Rick O’Shea arse-surfed down the final slope, but lived to tell the tale.
Finally, the hounds were back at the car park for circle time.
The Australian virgin, who’d never heard of the Antipodes, was called in and made to sit on the ice. Well, she is Australian.
The Brady Bunch were on form, the whole family being punished for various misdemeanours. But the Brady star was Where’s the Off Switch, who not only showcased his amazing piss-pouring skills but also displayed his talent as a future RA. God help us all and watch your back, Chronic Irritation.
18 hashers went to a Chinese on on, where there were plentiful portions and lots of left-overs. Lucky doggies!
On on to next week’s hash, which is the Pool Run! I (Lily Sauvage) am looking forward to my virgin pool run and prancing around in my new pink, polka dot bikini.
