Full Moon run 1878

Friday 30th October 2023

Finding the start was the first challenge,  we knew it was in the feria ground somewhere. However it was full of trucks and stands being erected for the fair that starts on the 6th. Anyway thank goodness for hash shirts, finally spotted them. A small group congregated mainly consisting of Norwegians, and a surprise appearance from Faulty Dishwasher, great to see her. Off we ran... through the streets of Fuengirola, Fish Alley, the port, more parks than I even knew existed. And finally to find Blanka Wanka minding the beer trolley by a doggie play area, in yet another park. From there it was a bit if a blurr, I am convinced that From Behind was trying to confuse us so much so, that we could never find his house again.

We finally arrived at Casa de Blanka and From Behind, nibbles and drinks first then a circle was called. I was asked to be GM, and scribe, talk about multitasking! A few down downs, mainly for there being no moon in sight, so we were given not one but three moons. At which point the real one made an appearance between the high buildings. The RA was called in to dish out a few punishments, again mainly for there being no moon. Sverre with new shoes, I can't remember much else  circle closed and a wonderful meal of Chorizo and Manchego tart, a veggie tart and salads. Fantastic,  many thanks  and compliments to the Chef. A great night, my last memory of the night was sitting on the steps outside of the Mercado on Avenida de Mijas, with Aquasex eating chips and waiting for an Uber, it was 2 in the morning..... hangover to follow !!!
