The weather was kind to us on this day, overcast, but still pleasantly warm.
The run began going uphill, and uphill and then continued going uphill! However there were good views when we reached the top. We continued with considerably more downs and ups and eventually reached an area that was great to lay trail, with junctions that had many options. Once taken, many of the trails here were narrow footpaths where it was occasionally possible to be completely alone. A positive thing for me (must book an appointment with my therapist!)
This was a long section of trail which eventually came out onto the beach. There was little flour here but it was probably washed away by the sea. We continued along the paseo, going behind the Quirkily named “IPV Palace” to the Beer Stop by the pedestrian bridge.
The return was a pleasant walk (for most of the Hashers) along the river/tidal pool back to the circle.
There the Hares were awarded the score of 9.3 and the virgins challenged by the hash name “test.” Gina and friend proved to be exceptionally good at this and ultimately everyone ended up in the circle.”
Then to On On at the Palace of India for the usual first class meal.
