The run location this week was certainly distant, for those at least who were based in the Fuenjirola area. An hour and a little more to the circle start! But what spectacular scenery, high, high, above Malaga!
Once the run got underway, it became clear that the trails were mostly on access/firebreak
tracks. These were wide and fairly level.
There was a 6K walkers trail and a 13K runner·s trail. The level of difficulty of the latter was not high, but what made it difficult was the length.
At the Beer Stop it was decided to have the final circle there, as the car park where the run had started was full. Jerry Can was our very capable stand in, as our RA, Rick O·Shay was spending time with his Sister, so …
not a Mummies Boy, but a Sisters Boy!
Rub Her Turd was given a drink after getting lost and ultimately covered 16K searching for true trail.
The On On was at the venta where we had met, and was an old, and well establish place, much frequented by the citizens of Malaga, despite its remote location.
