Date: Sunday 13th September 2026.

Mijas H3 Run number 2036.

Hares: Bloody Pinocchio and Happy Days.

Location: Montes de Malaga.

Date: Sunday 13th September.

Our four-legged alarm clock went off at 08.00 hrs, with excessive face liking, and bouncing on the bed!! Ok we will get up, let you out, and feed you!! Well now we are up,

should we do the run I asked Stiffanny? I wasn’t planning on going, as I am against breakfast hashing, but as its in fantastic area, and B-P usually set a decent run, we should make the effort!! We had to attend away to pick up the Cooler boxes for next week’s run, Therefore a trapes around the Mountains of Malaga before breakfast, was not that a bad idea!!

Car loaded with very keen four-legged hashers we set off for the mountains of Malaga, giving ourselves plenty of time for a pre-hash coffee stop once in the mountains.

We arrived at the start location after a very enjoyable breakfast which we later found to also to be the On On restaurant. A very respectable turn out of 18 athletic souls

gathered for what was looking like a great run. We had two virgins turning up on the run, along with “Sand paper Sally” who was back in town and “Running nuts” and returning

hasher “Half pipe” whom is threatening to be a regular Mijas H3 hasher, as he has just moved here from the States!! We had the dependable “Kindergarten Cop”, stepping in as

GM to get proceeding underway, virgins brought in Eric and Richard.

They were formally introduced to the hash, the Hares then explained the trail marking, and that there was “two” beer stops, which always helps the score marking!!!

As I was last in the circle, K-C generously gave the “scribe report” to me, then asked me to also be “Hash flash” I was also recording the trail on “Wikiloc” so I did feel I was doing

my bit for the Hash this week, after our long holiday absence!!! Photo out of the way ,ON-ON was called, and the pack ventured off down a trail into the heart of the Malaga

mountains!! The trail was descending further and further down into the valley, this was pleasant enough, but we all knew ----- what went down had to come up!! there was

plenty of split trails which helped to keep the pack together a bit, but “Bad Weasel” was way out Infront with the “Jocks”, the views were spectacular of Malaga city as we made our

way along the trail, it didn’t appear to be that long before the first beer stop appeared, the front runners were already on there second drinks!! The back markers eventually made it in, “STTI“ and “Rick O Shea” “Red Hot Chilly” and “Miss Dick” all chatting away and hardly out of breath! The Beer stop was also a “Check” so this did delay the start a bit, as the pack was well spread out checking, when eventually “On-On” was called, a good check, and a little difficult to find the trail had us heading upwards, more checks, and split trails kept us guessing, but the sparse “Flour” was a worry at sometimes!! The pack was again spread out “Pisster Bradwee” was

keeping up an amazing pace with his new hip!! The second drink stop was on the side of the road, and the pack were advised to take 3 options!! Continue on the trail

but it is a wee bit difficult, or jump in the hares car for a lift back down the road “Mummies boy” was also assisting in the car transfer, or ----- just simply walk down the road.

After various discussions, it was about a 50 – 50 split, half in cars and the “nutters” staying on trial, this actually was the best part of the run, it was basically a mountain bike track,

and some of the “down” sections were well worn, and very slippery! This was about a 2 kl section of the run in, in total on

reaching the end it was close to a 11kl trail! The circle was called: The new virgin hashers got the 3 names each correctly, and the Hares got a very respectable 9.4 for

the run, the general opinion was a very good run and we should use the area more often. The stand-in RA was then brought in to cleanse our sins, we were then treated to a tail

about “Pisster B”, loosing his keys, and his daughter being weary about letting a drunk into the house late at night!! Apparently one of the virgin hashers was with him, and had

inadvertently had taken his keys!!! I also stepped in, as I had to mention a tale that I overheard at the Beer stop, “Bad Weasel” was chatting with the “Jocks” and Pisster B on about

“NATO” and their planes can fly anywhere, The Scottish people were looking a little confused! Oh, we thought “NATO” was a Diabetic Glaswegian, that had had his big toe

amputated!! “Clit Hero Kid” was also brought in for doing the whole run with his tee-shirt on backwards, or his head was on the wrong way around?

Next weeks Hares, The Jocks advised on next weeks run at El Faro, which sounds like it will be a lot of fun !! see you all there On ON.

The On On Restaurant was only a 2 minute drive back down the road, the most popular choice was the “Eggs and chips” washed down with the 7euro house wine !! It was fantastic, Well done “Bloody Pinocchio” and “Happy Days” for a really good run, and ON On meal.

Your Scribe Sir Flakey.

On ON forever.
